IofC in Brief

Who we are: Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.

The visitors were welcomed at the Parliament of White Nile State with dancing by the Fellata community, who are of Nigerian Hausa origin

Purpose: We work to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs, starting with themselves, in the areas of trustbuilding, ethical leadership and sustainable living.

Creators of Peace from 13 African countries will come together in South Africa from 16 – 23 September. They will explore how to strengthen the Creators of Peace community across the continent.

The aims of the gathering are:

i) Taking part in a refreshers course in new methods, techniques and styles of facilitating the Peace Circle.

ii) Coming together to explore how Africa can build a strong Creators of Peace community and network of English and French speaking facilitators and co-ordinators.

iii) Deepening your personal journey
