Raila Odinga, the Kenyan Prime Minister, spent an hour with Rajmohan Gandhi, President of Initiatives of Change International, and others from IofC this morning. Asked by Prof Gandhi what his deepest longings were, he said he wanted to be a bridge to the new Kenya where the basic needs of people were met.

At a press conference following the private meeting, Mr Odinga introduced Prof Gandhi who stated IofC's readiness to support Kenya in any ways that could be helpful.
