Who we are: Initiatives of Change (IofC) is a world-wide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behaviour, starting with their own.

The visitors were welcomed at the Parliament of White Nile State with dancing by the Fellata community, who are of Nigerian Hausa origin

Purpose: We work to inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs, starting with themselves, in the areas of trustbuilding, ethical leadership and sustainable living.

Driving innovation and building resilience in business and society

Disruptive technology develops at an exponential speed and impacts the way we live, work and relate to each other. Artificial intelligence, the internet of things, robotics, medical innovations, 3D printing and many more developments yet to come pose unprecedented opportunities for business and society, but also many risks. Future benefits depend on decisions taken today, so company leaders need to be well informed, innovative and forward-thinking if they are to build responsible and resilient business models.

How can ethical leadership maximize the benefits of disruptive technologies and minimize their risks for business and society?

Ethical leadership helps to foster a company’s capacity for innovation and its resilience by developing a trust-based corporate culture. Values such as respect, integrity and humility give employees direction and meaning, thus increasing their motivation, creativity and engagement. Employees are empowered to innovate products and services that will bring value to shareholders as well as to other stakeholders.
