Winter Gathering 2016/17 

The theme of the 2016 Winter Gathering is all about ‘Change'. 'Change' as a theme is as old as time itself. We are continually challenged to reconsider our own positions, to step out of our comfort zones and at the same time set limits to the overflow in our own lives, and to redefine our priorities.

The conference offers a time and space away from the whirlwind of everyday life, to reflect on how we treat ourselves, our world and everybody around us with a new respect in 2017.

Christmas time in Caux

Friday 23 December to Monday 26 December 2016

Initiatives of Change welcomes everyone - people of different faiths or no faith at all - to spend Christmas together as an extended family, create a festive time of celebration in a spirit of community, in which everyone can feel comfortable and included, and each one can share from their culture and traditions, their values and meaning in life.

It will be a time of retreat, recollection, celebration and connection, and an opportunity to express and practice gratitude for the blessings of life. This will also be a great opportunity for those who feel connected to the IofC work and network to nurture a sense of belonging to an international community and fellowship.
